From a manually driven sales process to a digital end-to-end platform with Salesforce
As simple and transparent as possible - that is Getyourdrive's mission. The mobility service provider Getyourdrive was founded in Hamburg in 2018 by Konstantin Klein (Managing Director), Philip Kneissler and Ralf Knaier.
Getyourdrive stands for sustainable corporate mobility and enables medium-sized corporate customers to realise modern travel concepts. Alongside fleet management and advice on the transition to electromobility, Getyourdrive offers flexible solutions, such as car subscriptions, mobility budgets and company bike leasing. In doing so, Getyourdrive focuses on consulting, sustainability and holistic mobility concepts to reduce both costs and CO2 emissions, and to increase employer attractiveness.

Log-in Area for Clients and Dealers within the Platform
Initially, the client had a sales-heavy business model, but lacked a complete mapping of the end-to-end process. The communication and brokerage between end consumers and dealers was done manually via email, leading to inefficient processes. Furthermore, marketing activities were limited and newsletters were sent out only sporadically.
Together with the client, we did an in-depth exploration to get a full picture of the requirements. This meant not only identifying the obvious areas for improvement, but also assessing the needs and wishes of the stakeholders involved. Such stakeholders included not only the employees and management of Getyourdrive, but also the end users and dealers.
By adopting this holistic approach, we were able to quickly realise untapped potential and identify strategic improvements for the long-term.
As a digital platform and sales-driven company, it was important for us and our customers to have a stable digital framework. At the same time, all data needed to be easy to analyse and use. Salesforce is the ideal technological tool. All our sales processes and customer communication can be transparently displayed, organised and optimised.”

The requirements were clearly defined:
A stronger focus on customer experience and the related customer journeys was also an important aim of the project. It had become clear that data-driven reporting and the usage of related dashboards were necessary to optimise action steps towards goal achievement.
The overarching objective was to create a smart and intuitive platform for customers and retailers alike that would enable scalable growth. Our client needed an IT solution to map the process from lead generation all the way to handover to one of over 300 dealers, all the while having a better understanding of customers and their needs.
For us, it only makes sense to digitalise the processes which have already been optimised. As we are much more than mere yes-men, we drew on our many years of experience and worked in tandem with the client to improve the existing processes.
The brokerage process for leasing contracts, including the drafting thereof and the communication between parties, is now fully implemented in Salesforce. Leads are generated via the Salesforce marketing automation tool ‘Marketing Cloud Account Engagement’ (formerly Pardot), automatically graded, and then distributed to the respective sales employees. Hot leads are now quickly and efficiently processed, leading to a two-fold increase in deals closed. Via the Community Cloud, the leads generated are forwarded to the car dealer network with more than 300 partners, allowing the status of the enquiry to be viewed at any time. Dealers can simply log in and process their enquiries in a structured manner. The streamlining and partial automation of the contract processes means that the customer journey remains transparent and fast.
Customers can see at all times the status of their enquiry and the subsequent steps. All updates and documentation can be found in one place in the portal. Partial automation has also significantly reduced the processing time, which means that customers are supported quickly.
Retailers have a transparent tool which processes their enquiries in a structured, automated and therefore more efficient and successful way. This added value, in combination with the elimination of time-consuming paperwork, has ensured an easy adoption of the tool.
By automating processes using tried and tested standards, growth becomes scalable; e.g. through intelligent customer journeys for customers that are identified by data-based triggers. The tool also ensures cross-departmental process transparency.
This has resulted in not only a satisfied partner with happy customers and retailers, but also in more leads, automated and faster processes and a solid foundation for scalable growth. The four key wins can be summarised as follows:
Reduction of manual effort for Getyourdrive, customers and dealers
5x quicker processing and sending of contracts
2x more deals closed due to faster lead processing
Holistic process optimisation improvement of the user experience

* Pardot was renamed “Marketing Cloud Account Engagement” by Salesforce. We are still getting used to the new name and will use it as soon as the new name has been accepted by the market and users.
